Our anniversary night

We arrived to Yangoon in the afternoon. Our taxi driver had some problems to find the guesthouse but at the end he made it. Nice guesthouse , friendly people and a cozy atmosphere.

We decided to go out for dinner and choose the real burmese food which is 5 mins by car away. The food was awesome. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 vegetable dishes and 2 main courses. Plus 2 Myanmar beer. We paid 36 $ for all what you see at the table

It was a fantastic dinner , even we never thought 15 years ago that we will be here in Yangoon tonight.

15 th anniversary of marriage

15 years. We never thought that we will spend this day in two countries , breakfast in Thailand and dinner in Birma. How we made it ? Just simple :) Search for the blog entry 16 ways to blow up your marriage. And love, trust and faith in each other. I love you more than before and will do do for the next 15 years until the end of our days.

Bangkok

Finally we arrived and took the air link express which is 90 Thai Baht instead of 350 for a cab. Hotel is not that bad but we were unable ( or too lazy) to find a noodle soup :( Any way 7/11 does it as well and now we need to have a rest.

Weeding – the most beautiful day ever – you made it

Yesterday our friends celebrated their wedding. It was an amazing night. You both looked so awesome, so beautiful. The ceremony was really touching and I hope this glas of sand will never break. We wish you all the best , live long and prosper, and you may always remember the promises you gave to each other. We love you and whatever comes , we´ll be there for you.

Life is life – or how to say thanks ….

No nothing related to the famous song from the 80ies and even covered by Laibach. My life. As it is right now. Great. Smooth. Not relaxed because of my job. But I definitely like my job. And my life. A big thank to my wife. You cover my back since a long time, even we had not only sunny days. But I don´t want to miss a single day. Through all the years you believed in me. Whatever comes up we´ll take it. A big kiss here and simply say “I love you” And a big thanks and hug for the one who loves me. Even we are so different. But we still understand each other, and sometimes we don´t need a single word. It comes the last years and I hope many years will follow. And thanks life that I don´t need to hide my love. You let me be what I am. And thanks for giving me some friends and buddies. Sometimes I feel old, some days m might be better than others. But at the end I can live my life without regrets, without excuses. Thanks.

Lou Reed – a genius passed by

Lou Reed died in OCT 2013. His wife said he died while performing Tai-Chi patterns. I hope that he finds the peace he was looking for after walking on the wild side. I remember my first vinyl “Velvet Underground and Nico” with the cover styled by Andy Warhol. And the songs like “waiting for my man”, “heroin”, “white light white heat” and much more. Never be forgotten and R.I.P Lou Reed.

Maschinenfest 2k13 – Oktober, Oberhausen

Great event is over. Especially if you spent the time there whit the people you love. Like I did. We had lots of industrial music, some interesting new (and old) projects like my old buddy Carsten with his alarmen project . We had relaxing hours in the SPA area and found a nice greek restaurant (reasonable prices and great food)
Hope to see some guys there next year as well….

Change – mind, body, may be even soul

After doing sports since many years ago I felt bored. All these isolated heavy weight exercises, interrupted by racket sports and martial arts. There was no real training which effects the whole body. No longer isolated weights. What will be the aim ? Reduce my own weight, feel better, have a fitter mind. If you search the net for Calisthenics or Body Weight Exercises you will get a lot of hits. I decided to follow Mark Lauren BodayWeightExercises by Mark Lauren and bought his book on Amazon. Furthermore, to make it a little bit easier I go with the Y(ou)A(re)Y(our)O(wn)G(ym) app, where I have chosen the 10 weeks training on a master level to start. Afterwards I should be able to adapt exercises, create my own workout by the week, find new challenges. Well, I´ll keep you informed for sure.
